Our projects primarily work at the individual level, with a focus on educational scholarships and business grants to entrepreneurs and small, local businesses.
Scholarships
Education is the foundation (and often the greatest need) for individuals to reach an equitable position in life. We provide students with scholarships to help cover their school fees and expenses.

Entrepreneurship is the fuel that fires economic development. We provide entrepreneurs with capital and advice to help them create profitable businesses that will support their families and their communities.

We focus on scholarships and business grants, but we recognize that there are many ways to empower individuals to make a difference in their communities.
Donors with a specific project or need can submit their proposal to the AEF board for review. Like all other donations, every cent will be used directly for the intended individual(s).
