1. Donate Now

As a qualified 501(c)3 organization, The African Equity Fund accepts tax-deductible donations of cash or needed items.

Cash donations end up going out in loans to small businesses or projects in Africa. As the businesses gets up and running and the loan is paid-back, the money is reinvested into a new project thereby perpetuating your generous gift.

We also seek donations of various items associated with our current projects. Examples include laptops, digital cameras, frequent flyer miles, clothing, and educational materials. Please contact us if you have something you are willing to donate.

2. Volunteer your time

We will be planning an annual working trip to Ghana where we provide service, help establish new companies, and check in with our current and former projects. Please come along for a rich experience in culture, service, and African success stories. Contact us with questions

3. Invest in African entrepreneurs

Our newest form of support is through creative financial products offered through AEF. Rather than making a donation to AEF, which stays forever in an account dedicated to charitable causes, you can provide a loan to our selected projects or entrepreneurs in Africa. We will provide the planning, training, and management- and you provide a loan at a low interest rate. Loans are structured to pay you back in 2-3 years.
